Originally established to advise local authorities on asset management of lighting assets, Sustainovel has grown steadily into a practice providing a wide range of services and products to assist lighting and ‘minor structures’ owners to; manage their stock, determine best value options for stock maintenance and investment, comply with industry best practice and provide training for use of latest codes of practice.

As co-authors of the GN22 ILP Best Practice Guide we are uniquely placed to advise on how best to interpret inspection and test data and make sound decisions to meet budget constraints, legal compliance and best practice.
Compliance with GN22
GN22 Toolkit is designed to take the guesswork out of compliance with the new GN22/19 Asset-Management Toolkit: Minor Structures launched by the Institute for Lighting Professionals in June 2019. The new guide aligns lighting asset management with other highway infrastructure codes of practice using a ‘risk based approach’ to inspection, testing and asset management.

Asset Manager
Whether you are an asset manager responsible for a large or small stock of lighting assets, varying asset types and ages, ‘Asset Manager’ is an easy to use tool which will assess the condition and residual life of your stock.
The results of your stock condition is presented in an easy to understand form allowing you to develop strategies for maintenance and investment at a stock level, town/district/ward level and even down to street level. Designed by asset managers for asset managers it uses a web page for easy access to your data and results with filters to fine tune the results that are most relevant to you. Filtered results can be downloaded either as a spreadsheet or report for printing. Coupled with our ‘Optimiser’ and ‘LiveConnect’ tools, ‘Asset Manager’ maintains an up-to-date stock condition in real time and lifecycle plans without you having to inform us of changed data.
Optimiser
Ever had to make investment or maintenance decisions on a fixed or dwindling budget and want to make sure you target investment optimally? ‘Optimise’ takes the headache out of trying to decide on where best to spend a fixed budget to achieve
Our software uses artificial intelligence to model where best to spend a fixed budget linking with stock condition results from ‘Asset Manager’. Having selected one of the four possible strategies ranging from ‘maintain steady state’ to ‘improve condition’ our software will automatically produce the best investment plan until the budget is exhausted. Ever wanted to know what budget is required to raise the stock condition to a target level of condition? ‘Optimiser’ will show you where the investment is needed providing a year-by-year investment plans to achieve this.
